Project Location: 1st mile Sunder Road, Raiwind, District, Lahore.

• According to “Review of Initial Environmental Examination and Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2000,” the Project falls under Schedule II (B- manufacturing and Processing).
• To obtain the Environmental Approval/NOC, EIA Study has been carried out by ECA.
• The existing information to establish a database for the EIA of the Bleaching unit/project was collected from different government departments, reviewed previous studies, and through site visits of the Project.
• The Social Impact Assessment of the project site was conducted through consultation with the community.
• The locals/stakeholders were interviewed to get their comments and views regarding the development of the Project.
• All the laboratory test of ambient air quality, water quality, and the noise was conducted by WELCOS.
• ECA has submitted an EIA report to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and assisted the proponent in obtaining Environmental approval.
